No. One payment, one file. It does not expire, does not check a licence, and keeps working whether or not this site exists in five years.
What currency is this?
US dollars. Whatever your card charges for the conversion is between you and your bank — we never see it.
Do I need an account?
No. You pay, the file arrives, and that is the end of it. The app is the only part of ClearBound that has accounts at all.
I bought a volume and now I want the System.

Are the free tools a trial?
No. Six of them, free, no email required, and they stay that way. They answer smaller questions than the playbooks do — whether a rate holds up, whether a project is worth what it pays.
Do I need the app to use a playbook?
No, and that will not change. Every draft is written into the file itself. The app exists for situations no file could have anticipated.
