AI TOOLS — S-003 · TRACK · OPEN

Which one
is drifting.

Client relationships do not blow up. They drift — a little later each invoice, one more small add. Track is built to give every client a score from what you log, so the pattern shows up while it is still one email to fix.

Track is running at clearbound.app. The screen below is a mock-up drawn for this page, not a product shot — the real one is behind that link. Anyone who owns a volume pays half.

Monday digest: 2 invoices overdue · 1 scope alert

MOCK-UP — NOT A LIVE SCREEN

THREE STEPS

Log it.
Watch it.
Act early.

STEP 01

Log the moment

Invoice sent, invoice paid, scope add, weekend ping. Ten seconds an event, and deliberately manual — no inbox access, no integration reading a stream you did not choose.

STEP 02

Watch the score

Every event feeds one score per client: good, drift, or at risk. Payment slowing, scope adds stacking, off-hours requests repeating — the score moves and tells you which of those moved it.

STEP 03

Read the Monday digest

One email a week: who changed state, what is overdue, which pattern is forming, and what to handle first.

THE SIGNALS

The patterns you
only see in hindsight.

Every freelancer has said it: looking back, the signs were all there. The job is moving that sentence from afterwards to during.

01

Payment velocity

Six days, then fourteen, then thirty — the slide from prompt to overdue, caught at fourteen.

02

Scope drift

Each small add logged and counted, because the third one is a pattern rather than a favour.

03

Boundary tests

Weekend pings, off-channel requests, deadline squeezes — how often each client pushes, and whether it is increasing.

04

Communication shifts

The warm client gone short, the responsive one gone quiet — changes worth noticing before they are a surprise.

05

Revision churn

Rounds per deliverable — the client whose one more pass is quietly eating the margin.

06

The good ones, too

Fast payers, clean scopes, no drama — the clients who have earned more of your calendar, with the record to show it.

SIX WEEKS, ONE CLIENT

No single event
looks like a problem.

A late invoice is a fluke. A scope add is generosity. A Saturday ping is dedication. Individually each one is nothing, which is exactly why the pattern gets noticed a quarter too late.

WK 1 Invoice paid in 8 days on pattern
WK 3 "Tiny addition" to homepage scope 1st scope event
WK 4 Invoice paid in 21 days slowing
WK 6 Second scope add, no new terms pattern flagged

Payment slowing and repeat scope adds, together. Reset the terms now — the Scope Creep volume has the email for exactly this, and it is a much shorter conversation this week than it is in a month.

THE FRAMEWORK UNDERNEATH

Three states.
Each one is a move.

The score is not a grade, it is a direction. Every state maps to something to do, and every one of those has a volume behind it.

Good Paying on pattern, scope holding, boundaries respected. Protect it — keep invoicing on schedule and terms in writing. 01
Drift Something is sliding. One reset conversation now costs an email; the same conversation in two months costs the relationship. 02
At risk Overdue invoices, stacked alerts, a pattern in full swing. Chase the money, put the terms on the record, and decide whether this one continues. 03

THE REST OF THE APP

Three tools,
three problems.

Each one is a separate subscription because each answers a different question. All three are open now.

OWN A VOLUME? PAY HALF.

Track raises it.
The volumes answer it.

Track flags the overdue pattern; Getting Paid has the chase sequence already written. It names the drift; Scope Creep has the reset. Own any volume and Track is half price.

price

Track is monthly.

Billed month to month, cancel whenever — it is the only part of ClearBound that is rented rather than bought. Own any volume and it is half price for as long as you subscribe.

ABOUT TRACK

Straight
answers.

Can I use it now?

Yes. Track is running at clearbound.app — make an account and it is there. A subscription unlocks it, and owning any volume halves the price.

How does it know what is happening with my clients?

You tell it, and telling it takes about ten seconds: invoice sent, invoice paid, scope add, weekend ping. No inbox access, no calendar access, no integration reading anything on your behalf. That is a deliberate limit, not a missing feature.

How is the score calculated?

Transparently, from your own logged events — payment speed and its trend, how often scope changes, how often boundaries get tested. You can always open a score and see which events moved it.

Is what I paste in safe?

The design rule is narrow on purpose: anything you paste is used to produce the one answer you asked for, and nothing else. Not published, not sold, not used as training data. The privacy policy says this in the terms you can hold us to.

Will I need the volumes to use it?

No. They are separate purchases and each works alone. They do pull in the same direction: the volumes teach the reasoning, the app applies it to a message the volumes could not have anticipated.

How does the half price work?

Own any volume and every app tool is 50% off for as long as you subscribe. Buying a volume now is the way to have it — the ladder starts at $16, and the six-volume System is $79.
